  23. For my part, I'm REALLY disappointed......in my innocence, I'd actually 
  24. been hoping for a little increase :(

  26. This would be acceptable IF NewTek was to say that as soon as a suitable 
  27. 040/060 compiler for the Amiga appears, 4.0 will be recompiled and made 
  28. available at a very reasonable cost.

  30. I bought 3.5SA about this time last year on the promise of the easy 
  31. upgrade to 4.0 which was due in (you guessed it) 4-6 weeks.  Like almost
  32. everyone else, I have waited patiently, without complaining.  Quite 
  33. frankly, if this customer-antagonistic approach continues, I'm not 
  34. switching platforms, I'm switching companies - Cinema4D is coming along 
  35. nicely, and is easier, faster, and half the price of LW....at this speed, 
  36. even Real3D looks good (I'd have bought it in the first place due to it's 
  37. superior features and output, but it was so much...slower -now the field 
  38. is level!).  There is at least one other new Amiga entrant soon to appear 
  39. as well.

  41. So, I just wanted to say, Lightwave isn't the only game in town, even on 
  42. the Amiga.  If NT can't produce something I've heard referred to as 
  43. `customer satisfaction', I for one am not about to throw money at them
  44. for another version on a different platform.
